The challenge

Founded in 2020, Mall247 for the past two years has been focusing on providing its customers with original phone accessories, especially in the student environment in Illorin. In an ever-changing environment and the fast growth of the retail industry, Mall247 built an online store to stay competitive while meeting their customers right where they hang out. To achieve this effectively, Mall247 needed a new identity for the brand. One that positions them as genuine distributors of original products while seamlessly deepening their relationship with customers. This is where we come in.

Project Summary

Oniontabs created a new brand identity for Mall247 that highlights and communicates the brand’s attributes of passion and enthusiasm as they sell accessories that enable young people to express themselves, feel good and be free.

The newly designed Mall247 logotype wordmark evokes a sense of motion and a can-do attitude. We created a wordmark that communicates the brand message of accessibility to its customers all the time. The Circular arrow brings this idea to life quickly. Its modern, simple yet timeless approach allows it to stand out appealingly.

Since the lunch of the new identity, Mall247 has gone on to continue serving its customers effectively while making exploits including winning the Emerging Micro Businesses of the Year Award in 2021 and again nominated as the brand of the year at the Students' Union, Dinner and Award Night, the University of Ilorin in Feb. 2022.
