The challenge
Losing weight has become a major goal for a lot of people trying to improve health or get leaner. But weight loss can be a long process that requires time and lots of effort hence, many are turning to all sorts of supplements in order to speed up the process. Green coffee is one of them, perhaps, it’s increasingly gaining popularity amongst fitness enthusiasts. Because of the widespread acceptance of green coffee as a weight loss supplement, the market is polarized with this product making it hard to know which one works. This creates heightened competition. The founder of coffeeseed knows that for them to win in the marketplace, they need to stand out while appealing to their audience. This is why Oniontabs was invited to make that happen.
Project Summary
Our discovery session helps us come to understand how driven the Coffeeseed team is to help people lose weight and live healthier lives without having to starve or kill themselves in gym houses.
In translating this into the brand identity, we took on a design approach that people of any age group can relate to and feel proud to share with friends and family. First, for the logo, we used elements that they are familiar with as they take coffee anytime. Hence, the logomark is a manipulation of two coffee seeds to form a coffee mug on a plate
Using green and dark brown as the brand colours which practically are colours of green coffee seeds and brewed coffee further deepens the familiarity we were going for. We designed the product packaging to be simple and clean yet distinctive enough to stand out on the shelf.
Our work comes to a wrap with us designing some simple Google display ads creatives for the product. In the first week of the campaign, Coffeeseed was able to sell more than 2500pieces of the product.
We love the sound of that.
